18 days straight of temps over 100 degrees and it finally broke a little bit today — the official temp was 97 degrees.

Most RV’ers know about the dreaded Pyramid of Doom or you should! The Pyramid of Doom happens when you are hooked to a septic system and you leave the drain valves open on your holding tanks. Now, leaving the drain valve open on the gray tank is perfectly fine. It fills up quickest and it is much less effort if you just leave it open to run into the septic system.

to work, the break has provided an opportunity to perform maintenance work on all the equipment. Minor repairs and upgrades, fluid and filter changes have been the order of the day around here for the last week. With all the work completed on the heavy equipment, the Old Girl’s number came up.
