Well, this is a different scenario for me but life is full of challenges, right? Every jobsite that I have parked the Old Girl at over the past 3 years has either had 50 amp service or no service. I modified the 30 amp service common on older RVs so I could run BOTH air conditioning units on 50 amp service. On the older 30 amp recreational vehicles you cannot run both

Wednesday morning I woke up in my RV and the gray light was just starting to seep in the windows. An insistent beeping had awakened me… the Norcold refrigerator yet again! WTF? Deja Vu. This sucked! Shaking off the sleep, I looked at the Trimetric and it showed 11.2 volts. How could that be??? I had gone to bed the previous night with adequate ( I thought) amps banked in the batteries. Now that I am out of the big deep freeze for awhile, it was time to do some piddlin’ around the Old Girl. I used a precious gallon of propane to run up the Generac 6.6kw generator for an hour. From an average consumers point of view, these factors influenced my decision.
!) Wilson has a great reputation for quality and

I just don’t understand some of the design aspects of the older 30amp motor homes. Particularly when it comes to the air conditioners. Most 30 foot and better Class A coaches have front and rear AC units. With a 30amp power source like you would get from a shore power connection you can only run one air conditioner at a time
What? Doesn’t that seem crazy? I know in Texas during the
