Adios XM Satellite Radio

I had a subscription to XM satellite radio for years in the Suburban. I was hooked on XM12 which was their Americana country station. I listened to little else. Pioneer Inno Pioneer Inno Along the way, I acquired a pint sized portable XM receiver called a Pioneer Inno that was the best thing since sliced bread. I loved being able to listen to XM12 in the dozer and then save the songs I liked right to the hard disk on the Inno. What a cool innovation! It was a match made in heaven and I cheerfully sent XM my hard earned dollars for two subscriptions.

Holy Crap! Ants in the Bed!

It started with a semi-conscious awareness of maybe something crawling on me. I brushed at it and went back to sleep. Then again; and my sleep was turning more into wakefulness; I just wasn’t convinced yet. Then again and I was fully awake and I new something was crawling on me! It 5:15am and I was up for the day. Turning on the light revealed several ants in my bed. Not scores, not dozens but several. Thank goodness they weren’t Fire Ants or any other kind of bitey ants–just a medium sized little black ant. I pulled up the mattress at the head of the bed and there the little boogers were –dozens of them. I went and got the all purpose bug spray and murdered that crowd with no mercy shown.

Why is it so hard?

Upgrading to a new computer is just gut wrenchingly difficult. When my old Dell gave up the ghost, I thought I was prepared to make a smooth transition to a newer computer. Let me just say that blissful ignorance sure allows for sound sleep at night.
