Brake Controllers

In our line of work it seems we are always towing something. Whether it is moving to a new location, moving support equipment around the job site or going into town

Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Control

Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Control

to pick up material, we are always hooked to some sort of trailer it seems. I outfitted my Suburban 2500 with a Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Controller. It is an advanced product and I have really come to depend on it. One of the reasons I like the Tekonsha Prodigy is that it levels itself and it has a proportional boost mode for those really heavily loaded trailers.

I outfitted both the Suburban and the RV with a wiring harness, plug and cradle available from Tekonsha so I can switch the brake controller between vehicles as the need arises. I routinely pull a 28′ enclosed cargo trailer with both vehicles and I have successfully used the Tekonsha Prodigy on many long distance trips.
