There is a lively debate going on at RV.net. It started out innocently enough. A guy had an older model truck he wanted to build a baseplate for so he could tow it. He specifically asked for people how had done that i.e. built a custom baseplate to respond. So what happens? All the internet commandos that have never fabricated diddly and do not even know what a welding rod is chime in. I responded to the thread because I have an ‘04 Suburban with Ranchhand bumpers and it has a custom baseplate. Do these people who are completely unqualified to comment on a subject not have anything to do all day except butt in where they are not wanted??
Man oh man, this is one of my pet peeves.
