Lifestyle Headache

My Bro wins the fight with a West TX buzztail.  Exemplary trigger protocol on an old school S&W 5906.

Well in to the summer down here in the puckerbrush even though the calendar says we are a coupla weeks shy;  several days already  over 100 with oppressive humidity.  That equals energy in the atmosphere and that means severe thunderstorms.  Had one blow through here a week or so ago from the northwest with 80mph wind, quarter size hail and an inch of rain in 15 minutes.

Walkin’  Dog

Had it in my mind today not to even do a post because one of my rules is if you got nothin’ to say it may be best to just not say it. As a matter of fact I always recommend 2 rooftop AC units in your recreational vehicle if you want to live with some comfort during July and August down here.  So when the rooftop AC went out

Looking back to 12/26/2015, I was headed south out of Natalia, TX with a pup in a basket.  What was I thinkin’?!??  OK, OK,  that was a rhetorical question.   I knew full well what the dealio was.  You see,  I was missing my long time companion Tuco the Dog in the most horrible fashion.   I am not going to go into extolling the virtues of Tuco the Dog except to say she was affably easy to live with and knew what devotion to her family was all about. She seldom disappointed or  stepped out of line.  She was a real
