Back in the shiny shoe days,  I was prone to excess.  Formal dining rooms, topiaries, stylish dogs with painted toenails–you know, upper middle class badges and trappings.   The last stick house I owned had a walk in closet that had a chandelier and a phone jack in the wall — it was huge; probably 200 square feet.  For a closet- 200 square feet.  What was I thinking?

The reason I bring this up was I talked to my Mom on Mother’s Day and she wanted me to send her pictures of the new (to us)

Spring Cleaning out in the Boondocks
