If you have been reading previous posts, you know that I have been locked in a bitter struggle with AT&T Wireless over the cancellation of their Unlimited Data Connect aircard plan which I have had in effect for almost 7 years. When we were on the Terlingua and Back Again trip in September of this year, I started getting emails from AT&T Wireless that the terms of my Unlimited Data Connect Plan had changed. I know the auto insurance companies delay and make things as difficult as possible to reduce the amount of money they pay out in claims. I was warned State Farm was one of the worst. Even with that being said, there is no excuse for their inattention and inept handling of my claim. I am posting this from a wifi hotspot at Home Depot in McKinney,TX. AT&T Wireless finally made good on their promise to screw me over on my AT&T Unlimited Data Connect plan. My aircard has been data locked since I went over 5gb. Having to drive 10 miles to find a wifi hotspot sucks. More details later.  |
